Running to Fight Cancer

This is my second Team in Training Season, and the enthusiasm is contagious. I will be running the Pacific Crest Full Marathon this summer, an I am asking for your support. I have to meet my fundraising goals by June 16, and the deadline is coming fast!

Please donate now.

Across the country, thousands of runners, walkers and cyclists will be participating in endurance events, all committed to a common mission: “we will use long distance sports as a symbol of endurance and hope.”

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is an extremely important organization in the lives of patients and families affected by blood cancers. In addition to contributing both financial and educational assistance, LLS provided emotional support by connecting our families with other patients and their families who had faced the same decisions.

Over 75% of your donation goes directly to patient services and research. Past research, made possible through individual contributions, has led to great strides in the fight against leukemia, lymphoma and other blood-related illnesses.

Leukemia is the number one disease-killer of children under 15 and lymphoma is the leading killer of men and women under 35. Every five minutes, someone in the United States learns that they have leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma.

Team In Training is the largest endurance training program in the U.S. The organization provides its participants with coaching and training expertise in exchange for raising money towards finding a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. One of those participants is me! I am grateful for your support. Please donate now.
